Honest Will Crouch
A 17th-Century Quaker who was noted for his honesty and his generosity to
Quaker and non-Quaker alike, but who refused on principle to pay a forced
poor-tax to the government, and was jailed.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
A full account of his life and exploits, written in the 18th Century, will
appear on this page in due course. It will be taken from a 19th-century
Quaker biographical dictionary called The Friends Library, so until
it appears here, you can find it there.
