I am starting to work on my family genealogy. I have fairly
detailed information back to the Mathew Crouch (b.1831/2) family
of Lincoln Co., MO. Have recently found that his parents were
Thomas Crouch, b.1795 d.1841, & Nancy Knox, b.1800. However,
do not know where Thomas or Nancy were born. Many of my
relatives came from VA & KY, but have no information on when the
Crouches came to MO or from where. Some descendents in our line
are: Mathew who md. Laura A. Smith & had 4 children - Calvin E,
Cordelia (md. Archer), Sarah Catherine (md Gladney), & Wm.
Thomas who moved to CO. Calvin (b.1857) who md. Pocahontas Lee
Taylor & had 5 children - Clarence L.(b.1887), Dulcie L.(md
Dodson), Lois H. (md Bass), Nellie S. (md McMahan), and Laura B.
(md Campbell). Would like any information on the family prior
to Mathew & linking to Thomas and Nancy. Also seeking
information on the family of Willaim Thomas Crouch who moved to
Colorado and was living in Canon City in the early 50s. He
married Lily & they had children named Floyd, Nathan and William
or Tom.
