Hi... I hope I am not intruding. I am searching for my ancestor Violet Crouch
(possibly Couch) Born in KY or VA 1759-1760 daughter of Jonathan Crouch
born
Virginia, possible Manakin Town, Goochland Co.. Violet married Daniel Williams
in Boonsboro, KY, by Daniel Boone's brother Squire Boone. This Crouch family
(I have the name both ways from two different sources) were reported to
be French Huguenots that settled Manakin.

I am looking for any information for a Thomas Crouch who moved from VA to
WVA prior to 1900 I believe. He and his wife lived with a daughter Pearl
until their deaths. He was still alive when my Mother born 1926 was a small
child. I have no family records of any kind. Any info would be appreciated.

My father, John Edward Crouch, Sr. was born in Irongate, Va. in 1917. His
father was a baseball player named Hoyt Crouch, Mother Elsie Bougess. Have
not been able to trace Hoyt. Have you run across anything. Thanks, John
Crouch, King and Queen Co. Va.
I am a Crouch family descendent of a Baylor Crouch who married Lucinda
White Nunn in King and Queen County VA in 1828. I am trying to find his
parents. Baylor Crouch was born in 1796. His son, Thomas Judson Crouch
is my great, great-grandfather. Any information that you can provide
would be greatly appreciated.
My great-grandfather lived in walking distance of Crouch Post
Office (operated by the Williams family until it closed about 25 years
ago). Richard Bennett Crouch was one of six brothers and one sister.
His father was Thomas Judson Crouch who married Fannie Etta Nunn.
Thomas Judson was an infantryman in the Civil War. We used to have a
Crouch family reunion at the home of Benny Crouch at Bruington every
summer. My best memory is the great wooden barrel of lemonade, heavily
sugared, with big blocks of ice in it.

I am looking for information on Sarah Crouch of King and Queen
county Virginia. She was married to Thomas Langford in about 1847, 1848
or so. They had six children that I have found. One was Lydia Ann
Langford who married James Robert Kemp and then married Tazwell Ball.
I THINK that Sarah Crouch may be the daughter of Baylor Crouch of
King and Queen co. Va. I found he and his family in the 1850
census and Sarah was already married but her age would fit in his
family.
I will be most happy to share information.

I am looking for any information I can find on my gr-great grandfather Thomas
Jefferson Crouch. He was reported in the 1880 census in Rappahannock Co.,
Virginia with his wife (Sarah A.) and son Herbert Burton Crouch (age 1).
I cannot find a paper trail any further than family bible records and courthouse
documents from then on. This has put me at a stand still for research as
I do not know of any siblings or parents' names. If anyone has any information
of Thomas Jefferson or Sarah A. Crouch please email me at kelphadie@yahoo.com.
Any response is appreciated.,Sherry Henderson,kelphadie@yahoo.com
