Public Service -- The Arlington County Bar Association believes everyone
who needs a lawyer is entitled to one. To implement this goal, the Arlington
County Bar Association established in 1969 the Lawyer Referral Service.
LRS, a public service, recommends qualified attorneys in the fields of law
in which you need help. Special accomodations such as evening or weekend
hours, and Spanish-speaking lawyers, are available.
Legal assistance when you need it -- LRS guarantees no waiting time.
Same-day appointments can be arranged, if necessary.
Nominal fee -- LRS is designed to help you, regardless of your ability
to pay. A nominal fee for an initial consultation with lawyer is $35.00
for the inital half-hour consultation. Further legal services, if required,
become a matter for discussion and agreement between you and the attorney.
No restrictions -- Anyone may receive the assistance of LRS, whether
they live in Arlington or not. Whether your problem centers around home,
family, business or money, an injury, property damage or criminal law an
attorney is available to you -- before your problems get bigger and more
complicated. We also provide a Senior Citizens Wills
Service with special rates for qualifying senior citizens.
